David Graham’s Concept Posters Are Nothing Short of Brilliant

I’ve spoken many times about how I feel a good poster can be a powerful marketing tool. If I see a visually captivating and engaging poster, I’m far more likely to research a film, to look it up and find out what it’s all about. Generic posters are a dime a dozen and their cheap, uninspired look suggests a lack of care about what the audience should think, which makes me not care about the film.

So when I stumbled across the works of artist David Graham, I was simply blown away. It’s clear that with every poster he created, he thought long and hard about some particular aspect of the film or story that is meaningful. Using that information, he then crafted faux posters that astound with their detail, their innovativeness, and their ability to draw my eyes in and appreciate every inch.

Below is a gallery of several of these posters for titles like Metro 2033, Akira, Meg, Poltergeist, Dune, Friday the 13th, IT, At the Mountains of Madness, and much more. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
