Badass New Board Game Monster Slaughter Has Teens on its Menu

Board games have enjoyed a healthy resurgence over the last several years, and it’s good to see fans gaming face-to-face around a table instead of hiding behind the anonymity of a computer screen, usually in a sniper’s nest waiting to pop me in the head for the umpteenth time while I fire aimlessly into the digital abyss.

The next one that has caught our eye is Ankama’s Monster Slaughter, which looks absolutely killer. I mean, it’s just badass. Look at the eye candy below.

In the game you play as a family of monsters who track 5 teenagers to a cabin in the woods. Each player chooses an order in which the teenagers will die, then tries to make it happen as planned. Monsters will have to smash doors open, search for the teenagers in the house, try to eat them, or even defend them if a premature death isn’t what they planned…

Werewolves, Zombies, Vampires, Golems… Who will become their true nightmare? It’s time to figure it out!

Key Features:

  • Inspired by 1980s horror movies
